Why Am I Not Getting Jobs?
If you're having trouble getting your first job through the Time2Staff app, don't worry. It can take some effort to get started, but once you secure your first few jobs and make a good impression, it gets easier. Here's what you can do to improve your chances:
1. Complete Your Profile
Profile Picture: Use a professional photo where your face is clearly visible. A friendly smile can make a great first impression.
CV: Create a professional-looking CV. Use free templates available online to make your CV attractive and easy to read. Highlight your skills and how you can contribute to a workplace.
Video Profile: Upload a short video (10-20 seconds) introducing yourself. Say something like, "Hi! My name is [Your Name] and I am ready to work!" Mention your experience and motivation.
About You: Write a few words in the "About Me" section in your profile. This is like your business card and is shown directly under your name and profile picture.
Job Titles and Skills: Add job titles and skills to your profile. Be honest about your experience level. If you don't have experience, it's okay to put 0 months. This honesty helps avoid mismatched expectations and bad ratings.
2. Make a Good Impression
Your profile is your first impression. A complete and attractive profile increases your chances of getting job confirmations and positive star ratings. These ratings will help you secure more jobs in the future.
3. Prepare for Your First Job
When you get your first job:
Arrive on time.
Check if there is a specified uniform.
Watch any onboarding videos provided by the workplace.
Check in and out on time through the app.
Remind the workplace to give you a star rating after completing the job.
4. Keep Improving
Even if you don’t have a lot of experience, be truthful and show what you can offer. A realistic and honest profile helps set the right expectations and can lead to better ratings and more job opportunities.
By following these steps, you'll improve your chances of getting your first job and making a positive impression. Good luck!
